well well just as it happens due to the fucked back i had to let go of a bucket only had 10-15l of water but it spreads and it has stripped the paper off a bedroom ceiling. the fucker landed in the only area not protected by floor secure plastic took out my hall ceiling the other yr as well.

but the record i know of was when i was helping a mate clear after a grow he grabbed a hose that was trapped under general crap and gave it a big tug and pulled a 180l water butt off the top of a fishing box it was nearly full and nothing on the floor at all. the funnyest bit was he moved while upside down as if there would be anything left it took out a 5ft circle of plaster off the living room ceiling and it was raining downstairs for about half hour.

probably cuz i havnt flooded anything yet ill hollar at ya when i do lololol

its kinda like working with knives and not cutting yourself you just learn not to do it...imo that is one fuk up i can never afford so i make sure it dont happen.... one of the reasons im shady on drippers lol....

leaving your ro running is one of the most common as well as a drip or hose line comming off while the pumps are running or the drain clogs and over flows the trey or you trip while carrying a 5gal pale of water i carry 2 at one time it ensures im solid in my step lololol....

Thats what i was Thinking, Just buy those 14' or bigger tiles and tile the room, the big tiles are so you dont take all week, and tile up some base boards, grout it, then put a floor drain and connect it with the up stairs bath room or run it out the wall, just get the drain in befor you tile.

i used roofing paper on a "false " floor , and layered tar between the layers of paper , then ran the paper up the walls .

then over top that on the walls i put cloraplast to reflect the light .

the flase floor is all sloped to the center , where the drain is . it sits about 8 inches over top the real floor .

Hrrrrmmm... maybe frame up a false floor, and nail down some plywood sheets... seal the cracks with resin, and paint on some rubber coating. Don't forget the 4 inch walls, so it acts like a big tray.
